Art and Timeless are the philosophy of my design.

I believe design will be obsolete within time but art is timeless. Timeless art has it’s unlimited possibilities to create all forms of design.

Thus design should not simply be design but rather a form of art.

 

My graduate thesis collection, Walking Sculpture was heavily inspired by the art and timeless philosophy. In traditional consciousness, yarn is soft and linear. But if design is regarded as a work of art, yarn may not be soft and can appear in multiple forms. By changing the essence of yarn and through special treatment, it can become a new material to shape the design form I want.

At the same time, natural color is the best expression of the word timeless. Because no matter what period of time, natural color is indispensable.
